26 Dec After Holiday Detox
The past few days have been filled with sugar, sweets, and lots of food. My body has been craving a health kick! Today I’m sipping on a Mango Mint detox filled with sweet tropical flavors and healthy greens.
Ingredients:
2 cups ice
1 cup water
2 cups mango
2 cups romaine lettuce
5 mint leaves
1/2 lemon (juice)
1/2 lime (juice)
1 banana
Directions:
Blend together ice, water, romaine lettuce, and mint leaves until smooth in consistency. Add in banana and pulse until smooth. Add mango, pulse again. Add lemon and lime juice and blends for about 1 minute.
This detox is packed with fiber and enzymes that help lower cholesterol and improve digestion. The refreshing mint and rich fruit help put your body back in balance.
